Yarn advice

 Yarn can be very expensive depending on where you go. Micheals sells very expensive yarn. It's good quality, but sometimes you dont need the highest quality. I like buying mine at cheaper places like Fabricland. They almost always have yarn sales and i've made so many things out of the fun colors of yarn they provide. Otherwise, I recommend a store simply dedicated to yarn, because they too have nice stock. Dollarama also has nice stuff for freestyle, and they usually have nice colours in stock. 

This yarn is from Fabricland, and comes in many colors. I've used this for the mini octopus and for two tops. This is the pink, which is my favorite!

This one is from Dollarama, and is a little lower quality, but still good for freestyles. I made really pretty bows from this as mentionned on the post Alternitives to crocheting. 

This type of yarn labled Anthem has beautiful colors! This one is a little more natural, but you can find blue, pink, and many more colors in this type as well. You can check out the purple on the post Bigger projects.

My latest project

  This is my latest crochet project, that took me about two months, mostly because i'm kind of lazy and like taking frequent breaks. This one was completely a freestyle, because I saw a patten I liked and kinda just went for it. I did sc all around the project when I was done to hide all the ends and even out the length. The laces at the back are just ch stitches, knotted at the end.  This is the front: The back and other details: Ressources: This is the wave pattern , and I actually started from bottom up on this top, so I reccomend sizing the waves around your body when crocheting to get a good length. Crocheting creatures!

  Crocheting creatures is how I learned to crochet. My first project was a Woobles kit, and I made an owl. After that, I made many different creatures inculding octopus, bee's and potatoes. There are some new stitches you will need to create these and they are listed below!  These are the ones I made! Freestyle crocheting

  Freestyle crocheting is a fun way to express your creativity when you are a little more experienced, but still want to learn. My sister bought a little crochet chick, and I decided to make it hats as my freestyle crocheting project. I made a variety including bucket hats, party hats and winter hats. Here they are! This is pits, my sisters crochet chick. I did not make him, but he was my main inspiration.  This is him in the hats I made.  First is his party hat. This was the first one I created.  This is the beach hat, the second.  This is the winter outfit, and the scarf is only composed of chain stiyches. And this is the other winter hat I made, which is more of a party hat style.  You can create these by starting a magic circle and then crocheting from there depending on the width, shape, and colour you would like.
